Running 6 hours late due to the failure of the lead locomotive, Amtrak's Capitol Limited rolls through Huron in the daylight. Leading locomotive #50 failed, and so trailing unit #310, a brand new Siemens Charger on its delivery trip, was powered up for the first time to carry the train onwards to Chicago.
